It has a dynamic economy that favors private business, entrepreneurship, and home to high-growth companies including Alibaba, Geely, Wahaha, NetEase and Ant Financial.

The governments here are very pro-business making Zhejiang a leader in the private business sector.  This region is also a leader in E-commerce, technology, manufacturing and being a core logistics hub. It has also produced a-number-of billionaires and has local governments that encourage foreign investment and providing good incentives to locate here. It is an ideal place for start-ups and for new entrants to the China market.

It has invested heavily in infrastructure and the building of a highway over the Hangzhou Bay connecting it directly to Shanghai.
